A security issue has been identified with the software and it is recommended that you implement the latest version of the software to mitigate this risk. If you do not update your site you put it at risk of a potential hacker gaining access to the software and taking control of the site. Who is impacted:

• Websites running Joomla version 1.5.24 or earlier
• Websites running Joomla version 1.7.2 or earlier
