• Ability to access files from cloud based file services like dropbox;
• The future ability to create and edit Microsoft PowerPoint documents;
• Good reviews on the Internet

My I initial impressions where good and it is a very usable product which is a credit to the developers. However there are a few shortfalls that you need to be aware of that many reviews on the Internet do not talk about. Although these shortfalls are not show stoppers they certainly may affect your decision to purchase this product.

In this article I outline the shortfalls that I have encountered with the Word component and they are:

• No spelling checker
• Cannot insert images
• Cannot view images that have been inserted into the document
• Limited formatting - not able to do numbering and no styles
• No headers or footers
• Unable to insert hyperlinks

In summary if you are looking for a simple word editor then this is your application but if you want to do more then you need to look for another application. As I need these functions I will be looking at purchasing Pages. Watch out for my full review on QuickOffice HD com in soon.
